I spent the better part of the day in the back yard yesterday, doing massive clean-up. We went out yesterday and stimulated the economy (ha!) by purchasing a new mattress and box spring, as well as two latex pillows and covers for all of them.

I'm getting things pulled together in the house.

Paul worked in the yard and did some MAJOR renovations out there.

And then, he cooked our entire dinner--meat, potatoes and veggies--on the grill.

And I do have to say that purple just ROCKS...

I'm posting some pictures, but the pictures don't really do it justice, because it's a semi-gloss finish, which tends to make the surface a little too shiny to get the real effect, and I think the camera distorts the color just a tad as well, but it'll give you an idea...
